URGENT. Please help.

_{I just got back from the vets about 10 minutes ago and I'm actually in quite a panic.

About 3 hours ago at 11pm, mum started yelling for my help and when I went to see what was wrong, I saw my cat sprawled on the floor hissing, spitting and screaming in pain. She had things clinging to her fur, her arm was twisted in a strange position and at first we thought that she might've got something stuck in her paw since she wouldn't let us anywhere near her front right arm.

So upon closer inspection, we realised that something was pretty wrong and rushed her to the emergency vets surgery. They told us that she's in shock right now and she's been dosed with pain killers and nothing can be done until morning, but she'll need to have (several, I imagine) xrays and to find out whether she's fractured, dislocated or broken her arm. Either way, this is going to be very costly to pay for the xrays, to sedate her and to treat her. I know this doesn't sound serious, but..We all know the alternative option if you aren't able to pay for the treatment.

Anyone who knows me would know about my oldest cat, Sooty. She's 13 years old, going on 14, and she's still a healthy little thing. I can't remember my life before that goddamn raging furball and, fuck, I love my animals to pieces. It hurt to see my MOTHER choking up and crying over this.

I hate asking this sort of thing and I hate talking about such personal life issues, but guys. We're really, really poor. We're struggling quite terribly and we can't do anything about it. My dad has been working himself ragged doing overtime at work to scrape in a little more money which is going straight towards feeding us and keeping us with a roof over our head. I don't have a job because nowhere around me is taking on any students and things are really hard.

We just had to pay £150 straight up to keep her in the vet clinic overnight, keep her on pain medication and ensure that she's well looked after. Basically, £150 that we don't have. That my parents don't have. That I just had to pay out of the money that I've been saving and putting aside to get by when university starts in September and it's only going to start costing a lot more once she's moved to a different surgery in the morning and they'll want to be paid as soon as possible. The bills could possibly go into the hundreds-of-pounds zone and shit, we just can't afford that.
